Pour la première fois en France sera présentée à l’église Saint-Merri l'adaptation « underground » du Nouveau Testament orchestrée et interprétée par Michael Brynntrup, figure centrale et controversée de la communauté indépendante berlinoise. Jesus der Film est un long-métrage monumental constitué de trente-cinq épisodes, tourné en Super 8 par vingt-deux cinéastes de RDA et de RFA au cours de l’année 1987, sur le modèle du cadavre exquis.

For the very first time in France, we will screen at the Saint-Merry church the "underground" adaptation of the New Testament directed and played by Michael Brynntrup, the central and controversial figure of Berlin's vivid independent community. Jesus - The Film is a monumental feature film in 35 episodes, shot on Super8, made by a total of 22 filmmakers from East and West Germany in 12 months and inspired by the Surrealist idea of an 'ecriture automatique'.
